The Active Minds at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (AMMIT) group is established for the
expressed purpose of:
● Increasing the awareness of the students, faculty, and staff at MIT about the following:

○ Symptoms related to mental health disorders
○ Mental health resources available both on campus and in the surrounding
community
● Reducing stigma surrounding mental health disorders, so that students feel more
comfortable openly discussing mental-health related issues and seeking help when it is

● Providing a forum and building an open environment for all students to speak up about

The Purpose of the Addir Interfaith Engagement Association is to promote greater harmony, connection and empathy across the full spectrum of religious, spiritual and philosophical identities within the MIT community and in the world beyond. The word 'addir' is an ancient Sumerian word for bridge, and Addir seeks to build bridges both between individuals who orient around religion differently and between different religious, spiritual and philosophical communities. Addir seeks to promote a council of cooperation, learning, and growth amongst the various religious and secular groups on MIT’s campus. Addir encourages increased understanding of all religious and secular worldviews in the MIT community through an Interfaith Dialogue Fellowship, open events, campaigns and initiatives across campus.

Mission
The MIT Archery Club provides a setting for MIT Students and other affiliated parties to learn archery, build their skill, and explore competitive archery.

Membership Benefits
We offer two general practices a week: on Monday and Thursday evenings. The club provides barebow recurve equipment including bows, arrows, quivers, finger tabs, and arm guards. We have a head coach (certified level 4 coach) that attends practice once a week and several student instructors (certified level 2 coaches).
