Event Policies
| Tickets are required for all events with admission fees (advance or at-door). |
| Tickets may only be sold through approved ticketing platforms, not commercial booking offices. |
| All ticket revenue must be deposited into an MIT student organization account. |
| Tickets may not be sold until the event is formally approved by the SOLE Office either via Engage or via the Atlas Event Registration system. |
| Student organizations are prohibited from using unauthorized platforms (e.g., Eventbrite, Venmo, Cash App) for financial transactions, including ticket sales. |
Event Registration Process
| 1. Event Host must have an Event Space Reservation confirmed at least 10 business days prior to the event date. |
| 2. Event Host must register the event via the Atlas Event Registration System at least 10 business days prior to the event date. |
| 3. Event Host must select the approved ticketing platform that they will use to sell the event tickets: adMIT One or Engage (see below) and complete the ticket sales event approval process for their selected platform at least 10 business days prior to the event date. |
