About Us
MIT Mirchi is MIT’s premier, competitive Bollywood-fusion dance team! Our performances incorporate both South Asian and Western styles, including Bollywood, Hip-hop, Kuthu, Contemporary, Bhangra, and Indian classical. Over the past 12 years, we’ve had the honor of representing MIT and greater Boston at competitions and showcases across the country, sharing our passion for dance and our love for our culture. Every year, we put together an 10 minute set, including backdrops, costumes, and other props. Our themes over the past couple years include: IT, The Wizard of Oz, Phineas and Ferb, The Parent Trap, etc. Stay tuned for our upcoming performances!
