About Us
The MIT Korean Cultural Association is a cultural club dedicated to creating a community of people who are interested in Korean culture and the Korean language. We mainly organize community events that are intended to bring together these people with mutual interest or curiosity in Korean culture. Some examples of previous events with very large turnout are our Chuseok holiday celebration and Korean Street Food Festival. Both events attracted over 100 people, and our club was able to organize an event where people could come, meet people, and bond over the entertainment and food that was offered at these events. This group is an important part of campus for Korean-American students who want to connect more with their Korean background. This does NOT mean that we are just for Korean people. Anyone is welcome at any of our events, and we welcome anyone who is respectful of Korean culture.
