Events with International Dignitaries or Domestic VIPs

Category 3 Event

Atlas Event Registration must be submitted at least 10 business days prior to the event date.

Event Space Reservation must be confirmed at least 30 business days prior to the event date.

  • Event Information

    International Dignitary Domestic VIP
    Incumbent head of state/government or royalty. Political officeholder or public figure requiring additional coordination.
  • Event Registration Process

    1. For international dignitaries, Event Host(s) must read the Guidelines for Hosting International Dignitaries and contact the Office of the Associate Provost for International Activities (OAPIA) Manager of External Relations and Communications at least 1 month prior to the event date. This initial consultation with OAPIA staff is required before an invitation may be extended by a student organization to a dignitary.
    2. Event Host must submit the International Dignitary or VIP Invitation Request Form at least 1 month prior to the event date.
    3. Event Host must have an Event Space Reservation confirmed at least 30 business days prior to the event date.
    4. Event Host(s) must follow all applicable guidelines from OAPIA.
