The Bike Lab

About Us

The MIT Bike Lab is a volunteer-run bike shop that provides services to the MIT community. Members of the community volunteer as mechanics to assist others with bike repair and maintenance. Everyone is welcome, and access to tools and advice is completely free of charge. The shop has most necessary tools and parts to complete most basic repairs. Questions? Check out our FAQ!

"Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance." Kurt Vonnegut
