The Bike Lab

About Us

The MIT Bike Lab is a student-run bike shop that provides services to the MIT community. Students volunteer as mechanics to assist others with bike repair and maintenance. All members of the community are welcome, and access to tools and advice is completely free of charge. The shop has most necessary tools and parts to complete most basic repairs.

"Another flaw in the human character is that everybody wants to build and nobody wants to do maintenance." Kurt Vonnegut

How to find us in our winter home...

To get to Milk Drop Shop with a bicycle, walk to the right from the main N52 entrance to the corner.

Go up the ramp and through the door. Go straight to the end of the hallway and turn right to reach the elevator.

Go to the third floor and turn right as you exit the elevator to find us in N52-318!
