Mission
The mission of Camp Kesem at MIT is to support children through and beyond their parent's cancer. CK MIT counselors are dedicated to serving our 200+ campers both at camp and throughout the school year, and fostering a place where they can feel safe, loved, and respected within a community of peers facing similar challenges.

Mission
The mission of dynaMIT is to provide Boston/Cambridge area middle school students from underserved families an opportunity to learn and experience science and engineering through hands-on science experiments and challenges. This is accomplished through two free, week-long summer science programs: one week is for sixth and seventh graders, while the second week is for eighth and ninth graders. MIT undergraduates serve as mentors and role models who teach students about science and how it relates to their daily lives. The mentors give them a fun and safe environment to explore their interests, and encourage them to consider potential careers in science and technology.

ITEC (Individualized Tutoring for English and Citizenship) empowers immigrants in Massachusetts by providing free, one-on-one virtual tutoring in conversational English and citizenship exam preparation. By pairing them with MIT students who have a passion for service, ITEC fosters cross-cultural exchange, promotes community service, and equips students with a deeper understanding of the immigration and naturalization process.

Mission
The Kidney Disease Screening and Awareness Program raises chronic kidney disease (CKD) awareness and prevention by providing free health screenings and education for early detection of risk factors of CKD to underserved populations.

Membership Benefits
KDSAP members will have the opportunity to:

1) Set up/ Provide free kidney health screenings to identify individuals who may have developed or are at risk for developing chronic kidney disease (CKD), with a specific focus on underserved populations who are at a greater risk for CKD,

2) Advocate for preventive medicine and raise public awareness about the prevalence of CKD and other renal diseases through community-based education,

3) Explore nephrology and the medical field through talks with different physicians in the Boston area, build leadership and networking skills, and give back to the community

The mission of Science Club for Girls at MIT is to foster excitement, confidence, and literacy in STEM for girls and gender-expansive youth from underrepresented communities by providing free, experiential programs and by maximizing meaningful interactions with women-in-STEM mentors. Girls work with mentor-scientists who model and foster leadership and promote careers in science and technology as goals and options. Science Club for Girls will work to create a community of MIT undergraduate and graduate students dedicated to serving local Cambridge and Boston schools and generating enthusiasm for science through after school and extracurricular activities. Science Club for Girls fulfills a need at MIT for a volunteering opportunity that empowers future women scientists, and it fulfills a need of the Cambridge community for free and educational after school opportunities.

Mission
The MIT Bike Lab is a student-run bike collective that provides services to the MIT community. Students
volunteer as mechanics at weekly open hours to assist others with bike repair and maintenance. All members of the
community are welcome, and access to tools and advice is completely free of charge. The shop has
most of the tools needed to complete basic repairs. The club is also an opportunity for people to
build community around biking and safety, and for mechanics to hold educational workshops for
members of the community.
