This event features a beginner-friendly adult ballet class at Jose Mateo Ballet Theatre in Harvard Square on Friday, April 24, 2026 from 6:15–7:30 PM. Whether you’ve always been curious about ballet or haven’t danced since childhood, this class is designed to be welcoming, supportive, and fun—no previous dance experience necessary.

Learn the fundamentals of ballet technique from professional instructors while moving in one of Cambridge’s most unique studios, located inside a beautiful historic Gothic Revival church. You’ll explore basic barre and center exercises, improve balance and posture, and get a taste of the grace and musicality that make ballet so unique.

Class size is limited to 30 students to ensure personalized instruction and plenty of space to move.
