About Us
The MIT BioMakers Group (BMG) was created to inspire biomaking within the MIT community by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, hands-on research, and a strong maker culture in the biological and chemical sciences. Through our dedicated Huang-Hobbs BioMakerSpace, we provide students with the tools, space, and support to develop their own projects, gain essential lab skills, and grow within a passionate, inclusive community. By hosting workshops, speaker events, classes, and collaborative initiatives, BMG empowers students to learn, create, and contribute to a growing network of bio makerspaces across university campuses.
